Dad's
Army |
|
| The
classic British comedy series which started in
1967 was filmed on location in and around Thetford
after the BBC obtained permission to film at Stanford
Practical Training Area.
Various
places in Thetford were used for filming as well
as surrounding villages such as Honnington, Bardwell,
Wacton Bressingham, Brandon, Santon Downham, and
Weybourne.
The
Wereham House Hotel therefore makes a great base
to explore the Dad's Army Trail and there is now
